EHM's Wish List

Being a nonprofit organization, EHM is always looking for help, more specifically, we are looking for:

CLEANING SLAVES to help us maintain the Museum. (Please get specialpermission from your top and we will follow instructions, if needed.)

VOLUNTEERS to help us with special events and Museum maintenance.

INTERNS. Since we are a 501c nonprofit, we may provide credit toward your academic program. We are looking for students to help us DESIGN the STOREFRONT, Audio/Visuals, Museum Studies and Library Studies.

COMPUTER EQUIPMENT. Buying a new laptop or PC and wanting to find anice home for your old one? We will gladly accept your donation!

For my doctoral dissertation on the mystical experiences of medieval women I am trying to find the source of an erotic French drawing, probably late 1800s or early 1900s, entitled "Reve de Nunne" (The dream of a nun), which depicts a nun lying in bed. To her left is Christ, standing in front of a stained glass window, with a halo around his penis.

There is handwritten text in French that appears above the nun's head and to the right of Christ. I have a copy of the book plate but have not been able to find the original source. If you have any suggestions for how I might locate the source, I would appreciate the help. I can email a copy of the drawing if anyone might be able to help.
