Please be advised that the Trustees of the Exodus Trust that owns the Institute for the Advanced Study of Human Sexuality (“Institute”), a private California graduate school, that has been in operation since 1976, has decided to open a satellite campus at the Erotic Heritage Museum in Las Vegas, Nevada.
The decision was made to open a satellite campus as a result of the interest and support and the general quality of the Erotic Heritage Museum. The original dream that there could be a world-class Erotic Heritage Museum in Las Vegas, Nevada is now close to reality needing only a major library and a quality curriculum to offer to serious students of sexology and erotology.
The satellite campus will feature a faculty drawn from throughout the world and chosen for their leadership in fields in of performance and film arts, sexual health care and forensic sexology. The Institute and the satellite campus at the Erotic Heritage Museum will work with other institutions in Nevada and abroad.
Graduate studies will commence in the late fall 2009.
The mission of the Erotic Heritage Museum seeks to bridge the gap between that which is commercial and often misidentified as pornographic, with that which is aesthetic, often identified as folk, pop, and fine art through a common visual language. The Erotic Heritage Museum is the leading organization providing sex education through the arts.
The Exodus Trust is a non-profit California Trust that has as its sole and exclusive purpose to perform educational, scientific and literary functions relating to sexual, emotional, mental and physical health.
